All incoming containers will now be inspected outside the Main Gate. Loaded units will be inspected on the outside whereas empty units will also be inspected outside and in. MCR will notify the owner of any damage to a container, along with photographic attestation, and provide an estimate of repair costs.

Also new to Port of Södertälje is that MCR will open a cleaning unit for refrigerated containers. This is a service that Port of Södertälje was unable to offer until now. MCR has a great experience of PTI and in Gothenburg the company handles thousands of refrigerated containers every year.

Of course we want to be a part of the success story and the decision to start up at Södertälje was an easy one to take,’ says MCR’s managing director and owner Mats Johansson.
