Curves upward trend

The positive effect of the 40% rise of newly-registered cars on the roads of Sweden was distinctly reflected by the numbers handled by Port of Södertälje. In March, 7,000 cars were unloaded in the port which is a 75% increase compared to March 2009 and 2008 figures.

Gate automation to be installed

Port of Södertälje is expanding and our ambition is for a doubling of present volumes over a four to five-year period. Even winter was hard but now also on standby and spring is here. Then it is wonderful to work with the Maritime and watch the sun sparkle in the water.  Right now I am extra happy when I look out over the harbor and see the vast amount of cars that come to Södertälje.
