Container handling to and from Port of Södertälje has increased by circa. 20 % annually during recent years.

More and more shipping lines and forwarders have seen the advantages of the Port of Södertälje. The Port has a large capacity for handling containers, as well from/to vessels as from/to truck or rail for further transport to the receiver.

Frequent high-capacity container trains connect Port of Södertälje with other intermodal terminals in Sweden and abroad.
