He had a meeting with the Management of the Port as well as
members of the union. During the visit Mr Lars Ohly was informed
about the infrastructure in the Stockholm region in general and
of Port of Södertälje especially.

Special importance was laid on the three strong activities Port of
Södertälje is focusing on -  the big potential of the expanding
container handling, the short time needed for receiving and delivery
containers and the perfect geographical position close to E4/E20 and
the main railway.

Mr Lars Ohly asked questions regarding opening times in the terminal,
competition to the port from other terminals and how the working
situation is like in a modern port.
