Project Cargo

Port of Södertälje has the capability of receiving and handling large amounts of project cargo, so-called dry bulk. As cities and regions grow so does the need for the safe transport of materials to the infrastructure and numerous construction projects in the region.

The port's strategic location, in close proximity to both Lake Mälaren and the capital Stockholm, offers its customers the perfect conditions.

The port handles large, and diverse volumes on a daily basis, such as bridge components, housing modules and pre-cast concrete elements. Goods are then transported from the port both by rail or shipping on to their final destination.

The logistics chain is made complete thanks the port’s proximity to the E4 and E20 motorways for further transport by truck.
