About us
With its proximity to infrastructure, the capital and the Greater Stockholm region, Port of Södertälje holds a unique location in being placed in one of the most expansive regions in the Nordic's.
Port of Södertälje is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Telge AB, which in turn is owned by Södertälje Municipality. For shipping companies, railway operators, shippers, cargo owners and operators, we are an efficient and flexible link between sea, land and railway transport in the greater Stockholm region.
Loading and unloading of ships, transshipments to-and-from car/rail transporters, warehousing and terminal operations are all included in our daily port activities. Our emphasis is on RoRo (Roll on/Roll off) operations, container handling, liquid and dry bulk.

We strive to be an efficient, reliable and strong link in the transport chain with a focus on the least possible impact to the environment. In practice, this means that we follow current laws and regulations and continuously work to improve and streamline our operations.
We are also working actively to ensure our customers and their suppliers’ operations within the port contribute the least possible negative effect to the environment.

Since 2002, the Port of Södertälje has held the following ISO certification; ISO 14001:2015, ISO-9001:2015 and a Work Environment certification according to the Swedish Work Environment Authority statutes.
